Suzanne, I’m not experiencing anything like that with my iPhone 5s or my iPad Air on my sound dock 10. I should say though that I don’t use the 30 pin connector. My wife bought the 2 hundred dollar Bluetooth reciever.

I now use it with a 30 pin to lightning connector adapter and it has worked fine. That is, until recently. All that has changed is that I have upgraded my iPhone 5S to IOS 8.1. I also can’t use my old 4S on the Sound Doc and my husband can’t use his iPhone 6. When we try, the music cuts out immediately. This happens whether Voiceover is on or off. I seem to recall that there were one or two others on this list who own the Sound Dock 10. Have you encountered similar issues?
