Just FYI for the libvirt guys that aren't at the KVM forumn, I've spent a lot of time this week on https://github.com/autotest/virt-test/issues/919 since it was preventing me from testing Jiri's propcan update. That's out of the way now, and libvirt unattended_install tests are working with my branch: https://github.com/cevich/virt-test/tree/libvirt_unattended
We also need to give lots and lots and lots of exposure to Jiri's propcan update - see his mail earlier on this list. This code is very low-level and widely used, so it's highly risky changes. Last time lmr ran smack into some (guest) disk corruption problems, so be weary. I'd prefer to avoid problems like that for this second-attempt. If you have some time, please consider cloning his branch, and try running your favorite tests on it. Then, post here if you see any problems caused by the changes. The benefit it brings is less typing for subclasses, a cleaner interface, and some appreciable memory-consumption savings. So...I haven't gotten a chance to look at as many of your pull requests as I'd like. However, I'll get back on track for the rest of the week, now that the 10-ton (unattended_install) gorilla is alive and kicking. -- Chris Evich, RHCA, RHCE, RHCDS, RHCSS Quality Assurance Engineer e-mail: cevich + `@' + redhat.com o: 1-888-RED-HAT1 x44214 _______________________________________________ Virt-test-devel mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/virt-test-devel
