All, It's come to my attention that a few tests made it in recently which have dependencies on external tools or setup. i.e. they break if the tooling or setup isn't available. I completely understand how this could be a hard item to spot all the tome. However, just as a reminder to writers/maintainers:
Unless a dependency we can be safely added to 'virttest/bootstrap.py', the test-module MUST check for these and raise TestNAError when they're unavailable. Check out that same module for the current list of dependencies. Look at the configuration defaults for the environment setup dependencies. Either way, or if you're not sure, please ask :) -- Chris Evich, RHCA, RHCE, RHCDS, RHCSS Quality Assurance Engineer e-mail: cevich + `@' + redhat.com o: 1-888-RED-HAT1 x44214 _______________________________________________ Virt-test-devel mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/virt-test-devel
