I am attempting to run virt-viewer via a CYGWIN X session on my Windows laptop, but am getting all sorts of errors when I do.
>From a CYGWIN session, I run startx, then ssh -X to the KVM Host server. From >there I run the following command: [root@kvmhost1 ~]# virt-viewer rhel6guest And the virt-viewer window does display, however with no readable font on the task bar, just a bunch of rectangles. After a few minutes the virt-viewer screen dies, too. Below are the errors I get when running the virt-viewer command: Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "localhost:10.0". (virt-viewer:18802): Gdk-WARNING **: Connection to display localhost:10.0 appears to be untrusted. Pointer and keyboard grabs and inter-client communication may not work as expected.
