I see that you are attaching your strace session to an already running process. The setsockopt calls are done when remote-viewer connects to the remote host, so if the connection is already done by the time you attach your strace session, then I would not expect to get more setsockopt calls. Can you try running remote-viewer from the start through strace? Christophe
