I've not observed this before. I installed an F15 guest, completely normal installation except I was trying out SPICE (rather than VNC).
After first boot, the guest suspended itself, probably after being idle for some time. Needless to say it didn't resume properly. qemu is using 10-15% of CPU constantly, but the guest is completely unresponsive -- blank SPICE console, no response to keyboard or mouse, and no network. The only thing available are the kernel messages (via virt-dmesg) which aren't very helpful. See attachment. I've never seen a guest suspend before ...
