VirtualGL.org and TurboVNC.org now require SSL. This was primarily a
security-related move, because the wiki software I'm using to publish
those sites doesn't have a straightforward way (at least not one I could
make work properly) to switch to SSL mode only when performing
administrative activities. I tested the sites all the way back to RHEL
4, OS X Leopard, and Windows XP, and the only browsers that seem to be
orphaned by this move are older versions of IE. Those browsers don't
work with GitHub or SourceForge, either, and thus they'd be pretty
useless for VirtualGL/TurboVNC users. However, please let me know if
you encounter any compatibility problems.
