For those of you who are interested in more in-depth technical discussions of VirtualGL/TurboVNC, I have created a new list called "virtualgl-de...@lists.sourceforge.net":
https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/virtualgl-devel The easiest way to think of the distinction between the new list and virtualgl-users is that virtualgl-users is for users to talk to developers, and virtualgl-devel is for developers to talk amongst themselves. Use virtualgl-devel for discussing new features and fixes to VirtualGL/TurboVNC at a more fine-grained technical level and for submitting patches for discussion/review (you can also use the SourceForge Patch Tracker for the latter.) Use virtualgl-users for first-tier support questions (such as "my app won't work") and for other types of discussions that don't involve diving into the code. The new list has been registered with GMane and Mail-Archive and is awaiting review by their admins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fulfilling the Lean Software Promise Lean software platforms are now widely adopted and the benefits have been demonstrated beyond question.
