A couple of things: (a) please do not try to send attachments of more than 1 MB to the list. Such messages will be automatically rejected.
(b) strace logs are of limited usefulness to me in debugging VirtualGL problems. Please do not send them unless requested. The output of 'vglrun +tr' is always the first thing I will ask for. Regarding the specific problem, there should already be a bug report for it. As you can tell, Ansys is using some sort of WINE-like environment, and for whatever reason, this prevents VirtualGL from being properly loaded. VirtualGL works fine with "regular" WINE, so it's unknown what Ansys is doing differently.
