Unfortunately, Xt has some issues, and most of the full-screen fixes in 1.1 are to work around those issues. It essentially doesn't behave as advertised when it comes to grabbing the keyboard, etc. Reason #592 why we're looking to replace that GUI with something else in the next big release, but for this one, I need to make it work. Unless you have a deep knowledge of Xt programming, the only path forward for now is for me to reproduce the problem and attempt to implement yet another workaround.
