Hi all,
Just a small problem:
I have VGL 2.2 installed on workstation running NVIDIA 310 drivers and
Laptop client running 295 NVIDIA Drivers. Workstation has been
configured with vglserver_config.
Problem: I cant get Direct rendering. I've posted a bit of info below.
Would it be an X DISPLAY problem?
On the laptop client:
/opt/VirtualGL/bin/vglconnect user@10.0.0.6
VirtualGL Client 32-bit v2.3.2 (Build 20121220) vglclient is already
running on this X display and accepting unencrypted connections on port
4242.
Connected:
Now I run on the server:
/opt/VirtualGL/bin/glxinfo | grep direct
direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose)
/opt/VirtualGL/bin/glxinfo | grep NVIDIA
server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL version string: 2.1.2 NVIDIA 295.53
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20 NVIDIA via Cg compiler
still on server..
glxinfo -display :0 | grep direct
direct rendering: Yes
echo $DISPLAY
localhost:10.0
