Hi all,

I just got a Tesla K20 that I was hoping to use with remote 3D visualization. I have successfully set up VirtualGL on GeForces, Quadros, and an older Tesla, but I've been having trouble getting the K20 to work. I suspect I have an issue with my xorg.conf, which is, to be honest, pretty simple. Here's the relevant bits:

Section "Device"
Identifier "Device6"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
BoardName "Tesla K20c"
BusID "PCI:131:0:0"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen6"
Device "Device6"
Monitor "Monitor6"
DefaultDepth 24
Option "UseDisplayDevice" "None"
SubSection "Display"
Virtual 1920 1200
Depth 24
EndSubSection
EndSection

When I try to run a GL application, I either (depending on the NVidia driver version) get a segfault or, worse, X compeltely fails to load, with these errors:

(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
(EE) NVIDIA(6): Failed to allocate 2D engine
(EE) NVIDIA(6):  *** Aborting ***
(EE) NVIDIA(6): Failed to allocate 2D objects
(EE) NVIDIA(6):  *** Aborting ***

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken
