I thought I made both, I built both that I'm sure.... but don't remember 
exactly if I did "make install" or if I was too fast, anyway...

well, if you want, I can make a partition with archlinux and giving to you an 
ssh access sometime. I could either do some tests for you and send logs. I 
cannot be too much involved, I cannot code or debuging because I try to be 
hired by a gsoc project.

I can live without compositing, it's not a big problem, I'm almost using the 
pc-server for compiling stuff and using opengl trough virtualgl (my other pc 
(client) is too old for opengl...)
