1) This is really about TurboVNC, not VirtualGL, and should be on the
turbovnc-users list

2) The error is not about XINERAMA, but RANDR.  It appears heaven  tries
to use RANDR without first checking its availability. You need an X
proxy that supports RANDR.  Perhaps you can add an option to your
TurboVNC startup to enable RANDR.
