Hi Mitko, Patrick and Ivan,
thanks for your answers,
I sent you a private mail with the links to the data and the load scripts.

I'm not sure if both problems are related, the long duration for retrieving instances of one of the higher classes, could be related to JSO_LOAD problem.
I tested the query before the shutdown.

You should put a note here, that V 6.1.0 doesn't need the index anymore:
http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/rdfstorebenchmarks.html
That was the first hit, when I googled for the index.

Here is one small question:
If my:trans is a transitive Property and I query:
?s my:trans ?class. ?class a my:Person.
Will the inference engine's answer be complete and combinable?

duh, what I meant was:
duh, what I meant was:
in Manchester OWL :

Person and knows some Rockstar

rewritten into:
?person a :Person.
?person :knows ?otherPerson.
?otherPerson a :Rockstar.

and knows is transitive (knowing somebody, that knows somebody, that ... ).

Are the reasoning features combinable and is the answer complete?
It can be quite a costly query, so sometimes I would prefer partial results to have more speed. Maybe with the anytime option ? does it go well with reasoning?

Regards,
Sebastian
