After upgrading from Virtuoso 5.0.13 to Virtuoso 6.1.0, I get "error 22023 FT370: Wildcard word needs at least 4 leading characters, assuming unknown count". In Virtuoso5, this limit was 3, not 4 (see wp_wildcard_range in libsrc/Wi/text.c). What was the reason for this change? Can I simply change the value back to 3 and recompile, or will this have side-effects?
