Hi Peter,

I've followed the steps from
http://www.openlinksw.com/dataspace/%20dav/wiki/Main/VirtSPARQLProtectSQLDigestAuthentication
and the authentication worked for my new created user ( with name: "rnew" )

Could please give us more info what server version you are using,
and what are the properties for your user (user type, account roles, etc.)
probably a screenshot will be best here.

Best Regards,
Rumi

Subject: [Virtuoso-users] Problems securing SPARQL Enpoint

  Hi everyone,

I've been trying the different methods to secure a SPARQL Endpoint but have
run into problems with the SQL Accounts authentication method as seen here:
http://www.openlinksw.com/dataspace/%20dav/wiki/Main/VirtSPARQLProtectSQLDigestAuthentication

I have followed the guide to the letter, created the 'demo' user in the
example (as well as a different proper user). However on trying to log onto
the SPARQL Endpoint the login prompt appears but it will not authenticate. The
only user that is able to reach the SPARQL Endpoint is the default dba user.

Does anyone have any further experience with this?

  Regards,
  Peter Secomb
