Hi Rose,

The unix  "top" command can be use to monitor the memory used by Virtuoso in 
total, the Virtuoso status() command can also be used to see how many of the 
allocated buffers (as set in the iNI file) are being "used" at any given time. 

In that document you refer to the memory taken is based on the buffers setting 
in the INI the server allocated for its used, but how much is used can be seen 
from the "status()" command as indicated above and would be a lot less than 
20GB for 100million triples, probably about 1GB ...
