Hi Phillip

Virtuoso 22023 Error SR353: Sorted TOP clause specifies more then 1000000 rows to sort. Only 10000 are allowed. Either decrease the offset and/or row count or use a scrollable cursor

Yes, you have to use subqueries for that. Instead of writing:

select ?s ?pref
from <http://dbpedia.org>
where
{
  ?s <http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label> ?pref .
}
order by asc(?pref)
limit 100
offset 20000

Do use a subquery like this:

select ?s ?pref
from <http://dbpedia.org>
where
{
  {
    select ?s ?pref
    {
      ?s <http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label> ?pref .
    }
    order by asc(?pref)

  }
}
limit 100
offset 20000

Thanks,

Fred
