I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.2, Debian version Jessie and tried to install
virtuoso open source version 7.2.1. During installation it seemed to be
missing some of the VAD packages so I found another post about Debian
packages here:
http://serverfault.com/questions/631673/virtuoso-opensource-7-1-how-do-i-build-an-ubuntu-deb-package-from-github-sourc
I followed these instructions and virtuoso seems to be running. However,
when I follow the initial instructions to launch conductor (
http://localhost:8890/conductor/), I receive a http connection timeout
error. I have searched the virtuoso user forums for answers, but haven't
had much luck.
What are some good places to start troubleshooting? Are there any specific
log files or configuration settings I should check first?
I noticed the virtuosi.ini file has DefaultHost = localhost:8890. Should
this be updated to my server IP:8890?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
J Haag
