Hi,
Just wanted to check if the mailing list is down or not: latest message

Hi,
The mailing list is alive, it's just me who is not so alive :)
I'm working hard to put out the new version, that's why I'm not responsive...
OK, take it easy :) thanks for your hard work !
What is the current status of visdn? I seem to have problems on call
disconnect (kernel oops, and system lockup) with version 0.14 /
asterisk-1.0.9 / kernel-2.6.13.2, so any status update would be welcome.
Can you paste the OOPS here?
Unfortunately I can't. My customer described was on the screen, and
rebooted the system; last line captured by syslog was:
Dec 8 09:08:22 asterisk kernel: hfc-4s chan 000002 disconnected
(nothing interesting before).
I get lots of the following messages in the logs:
kernel: lapd: visdn1.0: MDL-ERROR-INDICATION(I)
and also some:
kernel: lapd: visdn1.0: MDL-ERROR-INDICATION(G)
kernel: lapd: visdn1.1: MDL-ERROR-INDICATION(H)
This is the system I described in a previous post: QuadBRI connected to
a Alcatel PBX (* is a simple VoIP gateway).
/etc/visdn.conf:
attribute clock_source_config auto
attribute ram_size 32
attribute bert_mode 7
#---------------------- st0 -----------------------
<netdev visdn1.0>
protocol lapd
role NT
tei dynamic
</netdev>
<port st0>
attribute role NT
<chan D>
connectmodule netdev visdn1.0
</chan>
<chan E>
connectmodule netdev visdn1.0 echo
</chan>
</port>
Hope that helps...
Thanks,
Jean-Denis Girard
