I'm using visdn-devel-20060126.tar.bz2 with debian sid, kernel
2.6.15-1-686 (btw, my precedent issue about asterisk and visdn putting
modules in /lib/modules/2.6.14 instead of 2.6.14-2-686 has been
completely solved with the 2.6.15 debian vanilla kernel).
visdn_configurator gives me this error:
ls: /usr/local/etc/visdn: No such file or directory
in fact:
ls -l
drwxr-sr-x 2 root staff 80 Jan 26 17:27 udev
and
ermes:/etc/visdn# ls -l /usr/local/etc/udev/
total 4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root staff 222 Jan 26 17:27 30-visdn.rules
these are files and directory created by the "make install", since the
30-visdn.rules I created, I've created under /etc/udev/rules.d
in visdn_configurator you find:
prefix=/usr/local
exec_prefix=${prefix}
VISDN_DIR=${prefix}/etc/visdn
I was wondering what should VISDN_DIR point to? Probably the visdn
config file? They are in /etc/visdn, following the INSTALL instructions...
I've changed
VISDN_DIR=${prefix}/etc/visdn
to
VISDN_DIR=/etc/visdn
and I've no more error messages, but this output:
ermes:/etc/visdn# visdn_configurator
D: 000006
E: 000007
that I hope is ok for my one and only one hfc-s PCI card (I'm still
trying to make visdn work... sorry, newbie here).
If the above is correct, please Daniele fix the script.
best regards
Marco Menardi
