I just committed a patch to implement proper L1/L2 interaction that may be useful to detect faulty lines earlier (just be sure to trim your T1/T3 to lower values as in samples/device-*).
The changeset is huge, so be careful that it may have introduced big bugs that I won't be able to fix until next week. If you're not willing to test and report bugs, stay away from the snapshots, until next week.
