so, you have:
 
isdn device <-> Asterisk box with ISDN hfc-pci in NT mode <-> ISDN hfc-pci in 
TE mode  <- world via PSTN ->

u have asterisk box with 2 pci card, 1 in Nt, one in TE mode
and u have crippled sound when using isdn device attached to NT mode pci card
when using a BT100 or other VOIP phone, no crippled sound, instead
