I support this a 100%, it's GREAT to have you back. Unlike Marco, I have
an ISDN2 purely for testing Asterisk + {mISDN,bristuff,VISDN} (I actually
got it after major problems with VISDN at a customer) connected to the
world. I also have several pieces of TE to test the NT mode with, like a
KPN Quatrovox III and a Siemens Gigaset SX255isdn. Also, I can test
back2back VISDN setups.

I partly disagree with that :) It's justified if you really think the
current way is not the way to go, because it might be causing trouble
in the future. But then again, since it's being backed by a company,
it might be that there's little room to start over, for financial or
other commercial reasons.

Anyway...

Daniele, I thank you from the heart. I know I've been bitching on IRC
about stuff you were already fixing. Sorry for that. I've been using your
stuff since the vzaphfc days, and your stuff always made more sense than
that icky gooey patchset from Junghanns.

Greetings from Amsterdam,

Martijn "macTijn" Bakker

PS

I'll might be in Italy for a few days this summer (work-related), I'll
buy you a few beers when I'm there :)
