Add Solution to Subversion error

I am trying to add my 2K5 solution to subversion by going through the
VisualSVN toolbar option in the IDE. The problem is when I enter the
repository location of "https://testSever:8443/svn/TypedDataSet"; it
tells me that it's an Invalid Repository. If I change it to the file
protocal with the server it works just fine, but I'm wanting it over
the https. What am I doing wrong?
