I'm running VisualSVN on a local machine and then running SVN on an external linux box. The sync for small websites runs fine but a lot of the syncs are for joomla installs and the many hundreds of files take forever (over a day) to sync up. Is there any way to firstly check that I'm getting normal performance, secondly, to remedy the issue, and thirdly work around it. Can I just upload my repos and set the revision numbers?
Sorry that this is more of a svnsync issue but I thought I'd start with the local repos before I looked at the external mirror.
