Thanks Pete. It looks like our messages crossed - there seemed to be a couple of days moderation delay for some reason (perhaps a holiday/swine flu combination?! :)).
However, I think we were following the same line of thought. With the uprated account having domain "Authenticated User" rights it seems to work fine and changes to folder are reflected immediately. If this is correct then the Visual SVN Server team might want to look at it, especially since the two main reasons for using this distribution (IMHO) are: 1. An exceptionally simple windows install, and 2. AD "out of the box" support allowing domain use in seconds.
