The multiple copies are NOT Simon sending multiple copies.
HE SENT ONLY ONE (1) COPY.
It was a result of a rare technical mishap beyond my control.
This could have happened to anyone of you.
The VM-L Server failed briefly in some manner in a way I cannot fully
understand. It sent out multiple copies to every vm-l member. What is
really odd was that It attached multiple headers and footers to every
message and every message was of a different size. There are a number of
technical things about this that completely rule out Simon and his e-mail
program and point to the vm-l server. The technicians behind my server have
never heard of such an event and have no clue how it could have occurred,
but will monitor. That is the best I can offer.
But be assured: The event has ended days ago.
It took only seconds to occur and leave the vm-l server. They then were
queued up at each VM-L members server until all 67 or so are retrieved.
They are not in the majordomo server which distributes vm-l mail where I can
do something.
I cannot go back in time and undo it.
You'll just have to download them, delete them, and get over it.
