Dear Ulrich, It appears that the distinction between VM and user-contributed bits has become blurred because everything has been put into the lisp directory and Rob wrote many of them himself or maintained them.
One way to make the distinction clearer is to move the user-contributed bits to contrib. Do you want to look at the new files added in 'lisp' over the years and see which of them should suffer this fate? What do we do with vm-rfaddons?
