Public bug reported:
bbdb's VM interface has been noticed to call Gnus library operations,
e.g., e.g., bbdb/vm-pop-up-bbdb-buffer calls mail-decode-encoded-word-
string. This sets up an unfortunate dependency of VM on Gnus. These
should be investigated and, if possible, replaced by calls to VM
operations.
