Subject: [VMESA-L] OSA Problem

After applying RSU 0402 to our z/VM 3.1.0 system, we can no longer
connect to our OSAs to manage them. When trying to use OSA/SF to
communicate with the OSA we get the following messages:

Query host
TIME: 10:05:27 DATE: 10/18/2005
IOAK282E OSAD device does not exist for CHPID 54
CHPID 54 had reason message:
IOAK282E OSAD device does not exist for CHPID 54
CHPID 58 had reason message:
IOAK282E OSAD device does not exist for CHPID 58
CHPID 5C had reason message:
IOAK282E OSAD device does not exist for CHPID 5C

I've opened a ticket with IBM support, but I thought I'd ask here as
well since the turn around time for problems tends to be much faster
here.
