you have to IML the adapter. It is not a real reboot of the OS/2, but in fact a stop/start of the application. You will find this in the application folder. Afterwards you have to relogon your consoles.

Hello.  I've made a change to a DEVMAP because of running in LPAR mode.  On the initial screen it says that changes don't take affect until the next IML.  Do I have to reboot the 2074 for the new changes to take affect?
