We're planning on concurrent use of an IBM ATL library and a STK silo on a zVM system.
Both have 3590 tapes and tape drives.
We use CA's VMTAPE as our tape mgmt system.
If anyone is using a similar setup, did you need to code COMMAND and/or ALLOCATE VMTAPE exits?
Can you share a copy of these exits with us?
My initial thought is "keying off" the volser to direct the drive allocation, if exit(s) needed.
I need to ensure that a requested 3590 tape, scratch or saved, is mounted on a tape drive in the correct tape library.
