DB2 logging

Hi Listers,
Can anyone tell me how DB2 records are logged in the VM version 7.3.0 of
DB2?  In MVS it only logs the changed field to the end of the record.  I
am trying to set up some tables for the most efficient logging and if
this version does the logging the same as MVS, I need to make sure that
the most often updated columns are placed at the end of the table.
