Jon--You can also use the EXECUTE command from the command line.  EXECUTE is an XEDIT macro (you are in an xedit environment in RDRLIST), so if you made a specific line the current line with a "/" in the prefix or command area, you could move the cursor down to the input line with PFK12 and enter "EXECUTE * PURGE R /" with the "/" being substitured with the spid.  Since you are in XEDIT, you could also, if you wanted to purge the 623 rdr files in your rdr that are the spooled cons files from userid abc, go to the command line and enter "all /abc/&/cons/" to display all of the console files from that user.  Then, while still in the command area, enter "EXECUTE * PURGE R /".

Just using the "=" is fine for a few files, "EXECUTE" is what you need for a bunch of files.

Thanks, Rich.  I knew there was something, but my addled little brain was not up to the challenge of remembering.
