You could set up something (a pipeline) to trap the msgs from RSCS and
interpret those. Would it be an option to do this process on the
receiving side instead (where you can inspect the tag of the file).
You could even have a disconnected machine at the receiving end to
inspect the tag, feed that info back to you, and transfer the file to
the recipient.

I'm wondering whether RSCS file transfer is the best approach if you
need this amount of control, but that's not up to me.
