Hello folks,

I am new to VMESA-L mailing list.  I now have two things for you.  I have an old XYZZY v2.2 chat program (written in Rexx language) when I looked for that and found them in one of my 9-track tapes that I saved on my university’s mainframes.  Many years ago, I used it on RELAY communications on the BITNET network.  I have complete XYZZY chat program but a missing file called “XYZIUVC MODULE”.  Does anyone have a latest copy of it includes source code?  How about a latest copy of Xyzzy (later than v2.2)?  That’s why I like to restore them for history purposes because I was formerly BITNET user at my university until 1990 (graduation).

I was looking for other IUCV message traps and found a program called IUVCTRAP on one of VM archive web site.  Will it work on that Xyzzy chat program?

Well, I was looking for BITNET history, Relay services, etc but can’t find them through the Internet but was able find only one web site that mentions Bitnet Relay service (history).  Now I remember that Relay v1 was written in Rexx language and Relay v2 was written in Pascal.  I was looking for Relay server software but can’t find them as well.

Since I was on other mailing list (Linux/390), I discovered that someone discussed about FreeVM (another VM version).  I was looking for FreeVM mailing list archives, etc. but can’t find them through the Internet.  Does anyone know where FreeVM mailing list is?

That is all.

Thanks!

Tim
