Good Grief, I haven't looked at that in years but I still tend to us some of the commands. I don't know of any documentation but I might be able to give some hints. Current line is real important in that one. n (down), u (up), s (scroll) and su (scroll up) still apply. / still locates. c/string/newstring/lines 1|* should still be right. c brings the current line to the input area for change. I string to insert a line, rep string to replace one. Oh yeah, execs that you want to run have to be $name EXEC.
Anything else, I can try and remember. -----Original Message----- From: VM/ESA and z/VM Discussions [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of swamp boy Sent: Friday, December 23, 2005 1:23 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Command reference for VM/370 CMS Editor Hi all, Anyone know of any reference available for using the line-oriented CMS editor that's part of VM/370 R6? I'm playing with this under hercules, so it's not EDGAR nor XEDIT. I've never used the original "EDIT" and so I'm unable to use it. Many thanks! swamp boy
