We are running z/VM 4.4 (I know, 5.2 has been ordered and will be installed
once our disk upgrade is done). We just got a z890 machine with a zAAP.
Our configuration includes a number of z/OS LPARs, plus an additional LPAR
running z/VM with a number of z/OS guests (I run on the z/VM side). Now the
problem is that we (the z/OS guests under z/VM) cannot access the zAAP
processor, because this is another feature, much like PAV, that z/VM either
doesn't support, or has limited support. Any chance that this will be
improved upon in the near future?
