Hi, Steve ... Those are macros provided for OS compatability and may no longer be equivalent to their MVS counterparts (e.g., WTO). You would need to look in the corresponding MVS publication based on the functional area the macro you're interested in is for. For example, the same book that talks about OPEN doesn't necessarily talk about WTO. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I usually go online to a z/OS BookMangler server when I need to look such things up.
If you have specific macros you need to know about, list them in a reply; I've done a lot of MVS assembler coding, as I'm sure others on the list have as well.
