The command is enabled (hence the error message), but the facility isn't. Add FEATURES ENABLE SET_DYNAMIC_IO to SYSTEM CONFIG. When you do that then SET DYNAMIC_IO will work. (And don't forget to authorize the LPAR to manage the I/O configuration.) Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
