The VM volids can be anything you want (within the restrictions of a
volume name). If you plan to change the volid there are a couple of
places where VM needs to know of the change, SYSTEM CONFIG and the
directory. I think a procedure to change the volids was published here
not too long ago.
Technically, duplicate volids are allowed. But, there is no guarantee
that a particular volid (510RES in this example) will be used as desired
(the wrong one may be used).
