The Bendix G-15 was also the first "computer" I worked with. IIRC the tubes were 6AL5 dual diodes and 6L6 beam power tubes, and the caretakers of the beast had to run it with the cabinet doors wide open, with fans blowing through it to keep it cool. I thought there was some primative source translator to help resolve real addresses, but memory fades. I think the only program I wrote was for mean and standard deviation calculations.
