No, do *not* try Hercules with z/VM or z/OS. There's no "theoretically" about it, Gianfranco; using z/VM or z/OS without a license is stealing, plain and simple.

well, I think that the *only* benefit in using z/VM or z/OS on a home PC (_at_ _home!_) is purely cultural; moreover if I learn using them better, I will continue to use them (better) also at work (where I have paid *all* licences). If you think that I can use them for other reason... I find that other OS are more and more comfortable...
