Hi Ido,
thank you for your help! The volume appears and I can rotate it at this moment, but after pressing q everything freezes and the sandglass appears for ages and I get no feedback from my computer at all and cannot choose the initialization method. I am using windows (but windows XP) as well. I don't know what I am donig wrong...Do you or anybody else have/has any idea?
Thank you! Regine

Hi Regine, Once you run the vmtklevelsetsegmentation script from PypePad, you should get a new window which displays the volume you are working on. Did you see it? If so, to continue the process: - Move and rotate the volume using the mouse
- Press q to continue
Then in the command prompt (at least in Windows 7) you'll be asked to choose the initialization method. Hope this helps, Ido On Tue, Oct 4, 2011 at 10:43 AM, <richschm...@web.de> wrote: Dear all, I have some problems with the segmentation of a vessel (I was using a sample data set of the coronary arteries of pubimage called GOUDURIX). If I want to perform the segmentation using this script vmtklevelsetsegmentation –ifile path.vti –ofile path.vti (or *.mha instead of *.vti) The computer hangs up (hourglass appears and nothing happens anymore). I tried to avoid this problem by using “vmtkimageinitialization”, but if I pick “colliding fronts”, I can choose the source points, but the vessel won’t be extracted afterwards (the result is not displayed and there is no file or an extraordinary small file generated). Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks a million in advance for your help!
