Dear vmtk society, I have closely followed this mailing list and searched all over it and a lot of things were helpful but unfortunately not enough.
I want to generate cross sections of a carotid artery in order to obtain the geometric info. I have .vtp files and 3 surfaces: lumen, tissue and calcium. My goal is to generate cross sections for each surface and i have generated this but the cross sections do not seem so right (some sharpness). I made sure my centerlines were also smoothed. The way i went around it to make it geometrically correct was by using one centerline in order to obtain the cross sections for each surface. The tissue and lumen are bifurcating surfaces but the calcium is not. I would really appreciate some guidance on this matter.
