On what ports?

Formally, vncserver uses the next ports:

5900 for the rfb communication This is tcp.
5800 for serving the webviewer (java applet)

For the listening viewers, I've read on the list the ports 5500 and/or 5600 are used.

6000 for the X11 protocol (Xvnc, unix variants only)

For all of the above, add the display number to the port number to get the realy used ports.

Subject: [VNC] udp

Hello,

Does VNC at any stage use a UDP connection?
I use VNC with Zebedee (Zebedee in TCP mode (at least thet's what it says)) and suddenly whilst establishing a connection a UDP mode request appears. Could it be VNC responsible for that?

Regards,
Andrzej.
