Hello, I have a weird VNC issue that maybe someone has a simple solution to.
I have VNC server v3.3.3r9 installed on a Windows 2000 desktop. I have a VNC viewer v3.3.3r2 installed on a RedHat Linux 7.3 desktop. Now, if I run the command "vncviewer 10.150.160.51" from the CLI I am prompted for the VNC password, and once entered it connects to the VNC server and works fine. However, if I enter the exact same command, or just "vncviewer" from a KDE run command window, I do not get connected and I receive a "VNC authentication failed" error message. Why does vncviewer work from a terminal CLI but not from a KDE gui? Anyone know? Thanks! Mike Dailey __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
