Hi,

I'm using the vncviewer ("normal" version, not the Java port) to control Windows
clients. When I start vncviewer in standard mode, pop up the menu with F8 and press
"Full Screen", the window would disappear but the process would stay alive. I don't
see any chance to return that viewer into a visible mode. Moreover, it seems to lose
functionality: on from the moment of the "crash" the keyboard and the mouse of the
server will be released again. After such an event I have to kill the vncviewer
process. Moreover, several crashes in a row seem to make X unstable: I experienced a
total X crash after some experimenting with starting vncviewer in fullscreen mode and
switching via the F8 menu.

I'm using Red Hat 7.2...

Bye, Hartmut
